Hive Flow is a dynamic vinyasa class that unites breath, creative sequencing, laughter, & community with a variety of yoga practices. “Vinyasa” - from the Sanskrit term nyasa, meaning “to place,” and the prefix vi, “in a special way” is a style of yoga that will challenge, inspire, and empower you. Expect to work hard, build strength & flexibility, practice continuing level shapes, chant, and move inward towards the subtler realms of the teachings. Some previous yoga experience recommended.
Warmed to a soothing 80-85 degrees, our Warm Hive Yoga classes are the perfect blend of challenge, and connection. We offer these classes in two styles. Warm Hive Flow centers on dynamic vinyasa movements linked together with breath that ignites and builds with the heat of the room. Warm Hive Hatha is a more grounded pace with longer holds for a balanced yet expansive experience that will bring warmth to the entire body leaving you feeling refreshed and nourished.
Hive Hatha is a strong yet grounded practice. A rooted pace provides opportunities for sweet-hearted reverence, introspection, breath and deepening movements while giving opportunities to practice where you are as well as discover new teachings. Expect steady movements and options for continuing level poses approached in a mindful manner for a deeply connected experience. This class is for someone looking for an active yoga practice at a bit slower pace. All are welcome.
Unwind with a sweet, slow, and gentler yoga flow followed by some rejuvenating restorative postures. A perfect mix of movement and rest to help you tap into your fullest potential. Honey flow is all about getting the nectar of the practices and nourishing the body, heart, & spirit. All levels are welcome!
Gentle Yoga is a space to slip into the depths of your practice, with ease. In this class, we explore pranayama, mantra, meditation and yoga philosophy using gentle movements to support the practice. Gentle Yoga invites a kind of sustained attention to the subtle that is the perfect antidote to our fast and faster lives. All are welcome.
Lovingly called "community nap hour", restorative yoga is designed to relax, rest and renew the body, mind, and spirit. Class will take you through a series of stress relieving postures with lots of comfy props to create a deeply nourishing experience allowing one to de-escalate and soothe the nervous system. Expect to leave calm, refreshed, and a little bit euphoric. This is an all levels class. All are welcome.
A slower paced class where poses are held longer in order to create space in the body and mind. Weaving in energetic and subtle teachings as well as Myofascial release techniques and therapeutic practices, Yin yoga creates an accessible, deep and holistic experience. All levels welcome.
Join us for our weekend community yoga classes taught by the best graduates from our Love Hive Yoga teacher training. A $5 - $15 donation is appreciated. Donations are part of a pay it forward system that help fund our teacher training scholarship program and pay the teacher for their time and talents.
