A slow, flowing, intentional style that allows space for and encourages natural unwinding and release without unnecessary force. A variety of techniques are used including deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release and Thai massage.
My inspiration to study massage therapy emerged from the deeper connection within my own body I cultivated through my yoga practice. I graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2014 where some of the greatest lessons I learned were how to really listen and let the subtle cues of the body determine how I can be of service in someone's healing process.
My central intention is to be mindful and communicative in my practice, offering a safe space to let go of guarding and tension that are no longer serving our well-being. It has been my own experience that the more connected and compassionate we are with ourselves, the greater capacity we have to offer that compassion to others.
