INCLUSIVITY & DIVERSITY
We are all deserving of
love and connection.
Love Hive seeks to provide a studio culture where all students feel welcome and free. We offer accessible teachings that are relatable, and applicable to the real world. We are into laughter, fun, and being in practice together. All walks of life, spiritual beliefs, levels, and bodies are welcome.
We also acknowledge that many yoga spaces are predominantly white, thin, affluent, and able-bodied. We feel passionately about doing continual work on inclusivity, intersectionality, and diversity. Below are ways in which we are currently working on this vision. We are also looking for collaborations and partnerships with others who are interested in and/or would benefit from increased access to yoga. We are excited to support and work with any organizations that are already currently working within communities of color, LGTBQ communities, and all other communities that are underrepresented and underserved in yoga. Please feel free to reach out to us about feedback, comments, questions, and/or starting a conversation on collaboration.
WE WANT TO START THE CONVERSATION ABOUT INCLUSIVITY

TEACHER TRAINING SCHOLARSHIPS
Every year we offer a Yoga Teacher Training scholarship to someone who would not otherwise be able to partake in the training. Priority is given to POC and other groups of persons who are outside the majority representation of yoga teachers. Our hope is to by increasing access and removing some of the financial barriers that we can increase the diversity of yoga teachers helping to build in inclusivity from the top down. Scholarships are given every June and are traditionally 50% off the price of the training. However more aid will be given for those who have a greater financial need and for BI-POC.
